All FASM members are invited to participate in the Farmers’ Market Shows on Saturday September25
These shows will happen on the grass in front of Knox Presbyterian Church (south side of Main Street next to China House Restaurant and `will also be part of the Market on the edge of the Main Street. The set up for each show will be at about 8:00am but you are welcome to come earlier if you wish. A donation for each show is requested to Knox Church for their kind permission to use their property.
Please contact webmaster@fasm.ca if you want to take part.
Stands/ tables will not be provided this year so…bring your own stands/ tables with your artwork- as much as you want to bring- all your responsibility!
If it rains it is up to you whether to take part.
We shall use the Shows to promote FASM and Studio tour brochures will be distributed to the public.

The Annual General Meeting featured speaker Nancy Cuttle, a talented artist, active member of the Arts community and part of our very own Fine Art Society.
Nancy Cuttle has been communicating through her works of art for almost three decades. In the mid nineties, her focus shifted away from painting and drawing when she discovered her gift for sculpting. Working in several sculptural mediums, she has won numerous awards in premier Juried Exhibitions in the Greater Toronto Area.
Nancy completed a landmark sculpture series in celebration of Canadian women in the 20th century. So significant is this body of work that it was exhibited in the Hall of Honour of the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa, an honour never before bestowed on an artist.
The journey taken with this project is a story unto itself. You are invited to enjoy Nancy’s presentation “Home Economics a Celebration of Canadian Women in the 20th Century” at our AGM on Wednesday May 12.
Four of the sculptures are part of her Telling Stories exhibition at the Halton Region Museum Visitor’s Centre running until May 31. http://www.halton.ca
