About the Artist
As a stay-at-home graphic designer located in Milton Ontario with a passion for oil painting, my creative practice is a harmonious blend of digital innovation and traditional artistry. Design is where I craft visual stories with precision and intention, using shapes, colors, and typography to communicate ideas effectively. This world of pixels and screens fuels my imagination and sharpens my skills in composition and aesthetics. In contrast, oil painting is my sanctuary—a space where I can explore the richness of color and texture without the constraints of design. With each brushstroke, I find freedom and a sense of wonder as I translate emotions and experiences onto canvas. The slow-drying nature of oil paint allows me to layer and refine, understanding values, hue and chroma to create depth and atmosphere inviting spontaneity and depth into my work.
